Studio Progress and Bee Happenings

Tonight bee was at my house and we did some hand quilting on my mother in law's quilt.  Such fun!

Making progress on the hand quilting and thankful for my wonderful bee girls who have helped so much with this project.

Now onto the studio progress.....
Siding is going up on the outside of the addition.  It's really taking shape now....so exciting.

Studio Progress

More progress on the studio addition.  Roger is working so hard to keep construction moving along.  He is doing such a great job.  Each day I can't believe the progress he is making by himself.

This is the side door that comes out to our picnic area.  It looks great walking out that door.
More pictures to come.
Happy quilting,
Shelia

Friday Night Bee At Gina's

Tonight we had bee at Gina's house.
Mom was working on some yo-yo's, Suzanne was working on some embroidery blocks.
Gina was binding two quilts to be sent to friends.
Dave tries to keep us straight, but knows it is a losing proposition.  They had a house guest who spent part of the evening with us.
I was working on my cathedral window quilt.  Dave and Gina had made two different weight watcher's pies and insisted we try both.  No way I can eat all of this!  But they were delicious.
Another fun night of laughter and sewing with my bee girls.  Life is GOOD!
Happy Quilting,
Shelia

Where In The World Is Shelia?????

I have heard the outcry and I am attempting to catch up.  We have been steady working on the new studio space and have not had time to keep the blog updated.  But I have heard you and am touched that so many follow what I am doing.  Blessings to all of you.

So backing up I am attempting to update on the progress and all my quilting adventures.  Bear with me as I get things back on track.

The concrete is done and now Roger is starting with the skeleton for the walls.  So exciting.

So much fun to see the space taking shape.

Happy Quilting,
Shelia
