This has been a very difficult time in my life.  It breaks your heart to lose your father but it breaks your heart more to see him suffer.  Although it is tough to let him go I am glad he is not in pain anymore.

I lost my Dad 22 years ago, and somedays I just want to hear him call me Sister. But, it will be better with time for you. The service was wonderful. You are blessed that he was so well loved and remembered. Let me know if you or Betty need something I can help with.

I lost my dad about 20 years ago and I still miss him. But you are right about seeing him suffer. It will get easier but not less.
