Progress On My Pat Sloan Little Blue Bird Class Project

I'm finally working on the applique for the Little Blue Bird quilt that I started during Pat Sloan workshop in March.  We had a great time in the class and I have had the applique  fused for the center for a while now, but just didn't have any time to work on it.

I am using a dark grey slate color for the button hole applique stitch.  I think it will look great when finished.

Doing a little bit at a time and using the same color thread hopefully I will have this completed within a week or so.  Or that will be my plan.

I've also been sorting through some books and magazines in my studio to make some more room.  Amazing how quickly things can pile up and get into your creative space.  Our guild has started selling old quilting magazines for 25 cents each and using that money to help with God's Pantry.  It is going over very well and everyone has started sorting out some older magazines.

Hope you find some time today to quilt......Happy quilting,
Shelia
